Triplett is considered a place of "Passionate Worship"

According to the Western North Carolina UMC Office of Congregational Devleopment, Triplett UMC is considered a place of "Passionate Worship" based upon a 17% increase in worship attendance between 2007 and 2008. This is based upon the attendance figures all churches are required to report to the Conference at the end of each calendar year. At the close of 2007, we reported a total average weekly attendance of 180. At eh close of 2008, we reported a total of 210, an aveage increase of 30 persons in weekly worship. This is a total combined average from all three weekly Sunday Services.

Triplett UMC launches new dynamic web site

Triplett UMC is currently developing a new and dynamic web site that will leverage the latest available technology and allow us to securely share information with our members as well as providing information to the community. Members will be able to "log on" to the site and access secured information, other's can view news, calendar of events and other information related to Triplett.

If any group or committee has an interest in creating a web page to showcase the many ways your group serves our Church and God's Kingdom please let Eleanor Johnston know and she will coordinate the required activities. Also, please provide any feedback/suggestions you may have to improve the new site.

The major development of the new site will be completed in stages over the next few weeks and or months. These stages are as follows:

Stage 1 - Basic web site release and new email accounts tied to our web site with email addresses in the format <name>.TriplettUMC.org.

Stage 2 - Additional pages as requested by Committee's and Group's and implement online registration for church events (example: Vacation Bible School)

Stage 3 - Secured log in capabilities for member's to access secured data
