Golden Trippers Trip to Asheville

Sign up now and travel with the Trippers to the North Carolina Arboretum in Asheville on Tuesday, April 16th. The Arboretum contains over 65 acres of gardens, trails and natural wildlife including a most unique bonsai collection and a Quilt Garden. The entrance fee is free. Lunch will be at Lula's BBQ in Asheville. We will leave the church at 8:30 am.

Theotokos: A New Worship Service

On Wednesday, April 17th at 6:00 pm, Triplett started a new mid-week worship hour which we will call Theotokos. This new service offers something for those who can't come on Sunday as well as those Sunday morning worshipers in need of a spiritual boost in the middle of the week. You will find its style to be a blending of the tratditional with the innovative. Please come and join us every Wednesday for this new worship service.

Christian Jam & Art Festival

This is aSpring fund-raising event for the Mooresville Christian Mission. It takes place on Sunday, April 21st from 1-6 pm. Cost of the festival is $5.00. Cost of the concert, which includes many different bands, is $20.00 and begins at 6:00 pm at the Mooresville High School. The festival features crafts, games, art, BBQ and rides. Money raised goes to help fight childhood poverty in our community.

Mission

For the next two weeks, the youth are collecting new items for the Humane Society of Iredell County. Items being collected are: Dog and Cat food, collars, leashes, and kitty litter. Please place any donations in the red bucket in the Narthex.

Duke Divinity School Summer Intern

Summer will soon be here, and likewise a new intern. We are asking for a household that will share their home for the wen week internship which begins in late May. If you would be willing to host this man or woman, please let us know by calling the church office.

The Mother-Daughter Banquet

Saturday, May 11th at 6:00 pm. All ladies are invited to attend a night of fun and fellowship. The meal will be catered. The cost is $10.50 for adults; $5.00 for ages 6 to 12; and under 6 will be free. Sign up is in the Narthex after the 8:45 am service and the 11:00 am service. Deadline to sign up is May 5th.
